Right here in Millinocket, Maine you will find a source for all of your heating needs.  Coal burning stoves, wood burning stoves and wood pellet burning stoves, along with the fuel for each.  We also offer bundled campfire wood, both retail and wholesale.  If you need storage for boats, snowmobiles, motor homes or RV's, we have the space for you.

Here at Glidden Services you will find a supplemental way to heat your home or business with a source that does not depend upon the world oil market.

All of our heating fuels are obtained right here in the United States.  Wood, Wood Pellets and Coal are safe, reliable and are very economical compared to oil!  Check out our Fuel Comparison page to see how much you can save.

We offer many different models of automatic stoker coal fired stoves.  BTU’s in these stoves range from 70,000 to 180,000btu’s.  All you have to do is fill the hopper, set the thermostat, and enjoy the heat.  Check out the stove page.

We offer Reading Coal in different sizes, including, rice, pea, and stove coal.  Coal is a great fuel to burn in a new Reading, Leisure Line, Keystoker, or in your existing approved wood stove or outdoor boiler.  Coal burns hotter and longer than wood which equals to easier handling of fuel and less trips to fill the stove.  Wake up or get home to the fire still burning instead of thinking you have to build another fire.  All the coal is washed and bagged in forty pound bags so there is no more mess to clean from firewood.
